The bursaries are available to anyone working within the museums, libraries and archives sector and are aimed at enabling practitioners to access training and develop their skills across the full range of collections management disciplines.
Applications are now invited for the first round of grants, which will offer ten free places at MDA Direct training courses in September and October 2006. MDA Direct is an annual programme of training courses held across the UK, aimed at new entrants through to expert practitioners. The Collections Link bursaries will fund places at the following MDA Direct courses:
Copyright Essentials, London, 4 September
Licensing Essentials, London 5 September
Documentation for Accreditation, Swindon, 19 September
Documentation Essentials, Sheffield, 18 October
