Collections management

The region’s museums, libraries and archives care for a wealth of material culture which reflects the heritage and diversity of the North West. We work to promote the highest standards in the management, preservation and use of the region’s cultural resources.

We are working in partnership with key agencies from the three domains to put in place strategies, development opportunities and advisory networks to support collections management in the North West. We are seeking support to map the region’s collections and assess documentation backlogs and conservation needs for museums libraries and archives in the North West.
