The Setting Up Scheme, developed by Arts Council England, North West and run by the Design Initiative, is an intensive business incubation project offering a unique creative collaboration between a designer and a public or private Host organisation – museum, gallery, other arts venue or Higher Education institution – with each benefiting from the other.

The Office of Public Sector Information and The National Archives are to merge 12 July 2006 The National Archives and the Office of Public Sector Information are to merge in October 2006. Under the name of The National Archives, the combined organisation will lead on information policy and support effective delivery of records and information management across government and the wider public sector - a role which is increasingly important in a digital age.
