MLA North West announces Flagship Economic Valuation Project 20 March 2006 MLA North West has worked in partnership with Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council to undertake an innovative economic valuation survey of the museum, library and Archive services the local authority is responsible for. NCA and HLF join forces to support grant applications 16 March 2006 It has been announced that the National Council on Archives (NCA) and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) are collaborating on a training series designed to help UK archives, or other organisations developing archive projects, intending to submit applications to the Heritage Lottery Fund’s ‘Heritage Grants’ programme.
PRISM Fund Oversubscribed 13 February 2006 The demand for grants towards conservation and restoration projects was significantly higher than in recent years meaning that the PRISM Fund for 2005-2006 is now oversubscribed and MLA is unable to accept any further applications until 1 April 2006.

Comic Relief -UK programme 05 December 2005 Over then next four years Comic Relief will concentrate their funding into six programme areas: Young people; Older People; Mental Health; Refugees & Asylum Seekers; Domestic Violence; Disadvantaged Communities. They can give grants for running and capital costs, depending on the programme you are applying to. There is no maximum grant size and the amount you ask for should be the amount you need.
